Notebook Eulogy

October 13, 12:07am my beloved Gateway Notebook died at the young age of 19 months.
Faithful companion and co-worker, we spent endless hours tackling projects together, and this time was no different. A design was nearly complete went the fatal blue screen tragically attacked. I rushed the poor thing to my husband who tried valiantly to resuscitate it. As it restarted, the once black "gateway"screen was now half white, as though it's eyelid was already half closed. I patiently watched it reboot and fail over an over again, hoping I was not witnessing it's final breaths before the end. The autopsy results were motherboard failure. Fortunately, the hard drive was not damaged, and my work and photography was salvaged. Gateway Notebook's remains will be lovingly distributed among eager e-bay bidders.
